Dear colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to send you this call for abstracts for the “International Workshop on Geomechanics and Energy” to be held in Lausanne (Switzerland) on 26-28 November 2013.

The goal of the workshop is to discuss the most recent contributions of geomechanics to various fields of energy. The areas of interest are related to geomechanical applications in (i) hydrocarbon exploration and production, (ii) interactions between wastes (nuclear storage, CO2 sequestration, …) and earth, and (iii) (shallow and deep) geothermal energy. This workshop has general appeal to everybody involved in geomechanical engineering of energy geo-systems.

We kindly invite you to submit an extended abstract (between 2 and 4 pages) through the workshop website. The abstract submission deadline is 20 June 2013.
