This e-mail is to let you know that Technical Committee 209 on Offshore Geotechnics will soon have its first ISSMGE McClelland Honor Lecture. The Lecture will be given at the Royal Geographical Society in London on September 13 by Dr. Don Murff on the topic of offshore foundation capacity (see attached flyer). It will be hosted by the Society for Underwater Technology 7th International Conference, but the admittance to the McClelland Lecture will be free of charge. If you can manage to be in the London area, we would be glad to have you (Registration information is attached).I would be grateful if you could forward this announcement to the members of your national societies or colleagues you think might be interested.
